Benefits for Reviewers (Journal Specific)

1. Publons (Clarivate Analytics Credit): After completion of peer review, the Reviewer will get the credit for the review works from Clarivate Analytics. Publons Credit may officially help the reviewer for academic careers, promotions, research grants, etc. As per Clarivate Analytics (Publons) Web of Science reviewer recognition database, 128,315 reviews have been recorded from our esteemed reviewers (up to 8 July 2024). Kudos to our reviewers for their outstanding contributions.

2. Opportunity to publish complimentary article: Reviewers will get an invitation to publish complimentary (Free) articles with the following terms and conditions

2.1 Comments of the reviewers must have detailed explanations to improve to help the authors. Too short review comments will not be approved. Quality Review comments must be uploaded to the ONLINE reviewer dashboard only (before closing of the comments uploading window). Review comments submitted as an email attachment will not be considered as valid submission.

2.2 A minimum of 10 APPROVED quality review reports will be required to get an invitation to publish a complimentary ARTICLE.

2.3 The decision of the Journal editorial office will be FINAL regarding approval of the review comments and Invitation to publish complimentary articles.

3. Certificate of peer reviewing: Reviewers will get an official Certificate of peer reviewing (signed Scan copy) for every approved peer review comment. Please see a sample certificate here https://oaacademicpress.com/cert/ACRI.jpg

4. DOI reference for reviewer credit: If the paper is accepted for publication by the editor after peer review, then the reviewer’s name will be included in the Peer-Review-History link of the published paper as a reviewer. Then the reviewer can officially write the DOI number of the paper and title of the paper in the CV as part of the reviewer credit.

5. Nomination for “Reviewer of the Month”: After completion of a timely quality peer review, you will be nominated for the “Reviewer of the Month” competition. Winners of the competition will get the prestigious “Reviewer of the Month” certificate (signed Scan copy).

6. Nomination for Annual Peer Reviewers’ Hall of Fame Book: Extraordinary reviewers will be included in the “Annual Peer Reviewers’ Hall of Fame”. Photographs and short biographies of selected reviewers will be published in APR-HF. This is an internationally circulated book with print and online ISBN numbers and DOI numbers.
